Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appears to have been pictured enjoying a kick-about with his pals - while Borussia Dortmund were in action.

The Bundesliga side drew 1-1 with Hertha Berlin on Friday night with Aubameyang not involved as he closes in on a move to Arsenal.

Dortmund chief Michael Zorc is expected to fly to London on Saturday to finalise the deal.

Aubameyang was left out of the squad to face Hertha but pictures have emerged from BILD of the Gabon striker allegedly having a kick-about.

The striker is seen wearing a Dortmund shirt with No.7 on the back, previously worn by Ousmane Dembele.

The No.7 shirt will become available at the Emirates when Alexis Sanchez departs for Manchester United.

Sanchez will undergo a medical at United on Saturday after a dramatic late-night breakthrough in talks.

Meanwhile, Aubameyang has been involved in a Twitter spat with a local journalist over his conduct amid the transfer saga.

The Dortmund striker hit back to comments, tweeting: "Bla bla bla next step is the jail - you don't know nothing so take care of you!! not me."

Micahel Markus responded suggesting Aubameyang forgot to wear his Arsenal shirt for the session with his pals.

But again the in-demand striker responded, stating: "you are a good joker".
