There is a big Everton Ladies home game Saturday at 7 pm (BST) 2 pm (ET) against Manchester City and you can watch it on the WSL Facebook page!

Man City is one of the best teams in the world, but Everton Ladies are ready for the challenge.

The Blue Girls are winless so far while City have yet to lose, scoring a combined 9 goals in only two games. Striker Chloe Kelly has scored Everton’s lone goal of the season so far.

Man City are coming off of a UEFA Women’s Champions League win against St Polten in Austria.

Everton Ladies have been putting in extra shifts and gearing up for the challenge.

This week showed momentum for some very talented Everton players.

Midfielder Angharad James won an FA award for Wales Players Player of the Year alongside Gareth Bale.

And, Simone Magill was honored at Northern Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Germany with an award for scoring the fastest international women’s goal in the world! (In case you were wondering, it was for a goal scored in only 11 seconds!)

The Toffees gained confidence from their excellent second half against Birmingham and want to build on that momentum.

Chloe Kelly said:

“We know we are the underdogs but if we can take that second half performance into this one then I don’t see why we can’t break City down.”

Come on You Blue Girls!
