Despite news reports last week that Turkish winger Emre Mor was in Italy undergoing a medical with Inter Milan, it now appears that the transfer has fallen through and the player could be available once again.

Everton had been linked over the last couple of weeks with the 20-year-old who joined BVB Dortmund last summer from Norwegian club Nordsjælland last summer. The highly-rated youngster largely struggled in Germany, scoring once with three assists while making 19 appearances.

Unfortunately, we can only call for caution with Mor here. While he might seem all sorts of young and exciting, all he looks like is a reincarnation of Gerard Deulofeu, who Ronald Koeman was only too eager to get rid of.

That said, it’s not all negative. The right-sided player can dribble like a wizard and can actually cross the ball, which seems almost mandatory for a winger but we have often seen otherwise. However, without a big target man for him to aim at, it’ll be interesting to see how Koeman integrates Mor into the team should the Blues go ahead and sign up the winger.

He certainly seems to have pace and can prove to be quick in transition, which seems to be important for the Everton side that looked slow and lumbering at times on Saturday against Stoke.
