Everton will play three consecutive away games in a matter of six days, and will get it all started with a quick trip up M62 to take on Manchester City. Spanish forward Sandro Ramirez missed out on Thursday’s Europa League clash against Hajduk Split with a minor heel injury and is expected back for today’s game.

Meanwhile, the Blues finally completed the long-drawn transfer of playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson last week, with manager Ronald Koeman expecting him to play some part in the Monday night feature.

James McCarthy is still out with a knock to the knee, while Ross Barkley is facing a longer time out on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury in training. Ramiro Funes Mori, Yannick Bolasie and Seamus Coleman are all still out with long term injuries with no new updates on their condition.

For Manchester City, new signing Benjamin Mendy and midfielder Ilkay Gundogan are back in training but are lacking in match fitness. Fabian Delph is also doubtful for this tie while Samir Nasri continues to be out with no fixed return date.
