Everyone celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day in their own way. Memphis Grizzlies reserve center Deyonta Davis chose to have a block party.
Davis recorded five blocks to go with 10 points and five rebounds in just 13 minutes off the bench in the Grizzlies’ 123-114 win over the Lakers on Monday. Every one of his blocks was memorable.
There was Davis’ emphatic block on Kyle Kuzma, his fifth rejection of the night:

And Lord knows Larry Nance Jr. should have gone up stronger than this:

Davis joined 30 other NBA players, including Anthony Davis, Kristaps Porzingis, Clint Capela, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant to record five or more blocks in a single game. And he did it in just 13 minutes.
Just imagine if he starts getting some real, consistent playing time.
