Kentucky was leading Texas A&M by one point as the Aggies rebounded a missed free throw with 3.7 seconds left and threw the ball the length of the court. The pass was intended for star big man Tyler Davis, but he never gained control of it and the Wildcats escaped with a victory.
The only problem: It seems clear Davis was fouled by Kentucky’s Wenyen Gabriel on the play. ESPN broadcaster Jay Bilas agreed, saying “that would have drawn a flag” if this were football.
That makes this defeat even tougher for Texas A&M, who falls to 0-4 in SEC play with the loss.
