The New Orleans Saints are no longer listing Willie Snead on the injury report, which, in theory, means he is good to go vs. the Chicago Bears in Week 8.
However, Snead was thought to be healthy enough to play in Week 7, but he was a surprise inactive. After being suspended for the first three games of this season, Snead suffered a hamstring injury that kept him out in Week 4.
Following the Saints’ bye in Week 5, Snead was active in Week 7, where he caught one passes for 11 yards vs. the Detroit Lions. Expect him to be more involved at home vs. Chicago this Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Snead is set to face a Bears defense that has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers over the last three weeks. Until Snead shows he can make even a slight fantasy impact in this offense, don’t even bother rostering him, let alone starting him.
