Real Madrid will announce a long-awaited contract renewal for midfielder Marco Asensio next week. Another Real player who has committed his future to the club is Marcos Llorente. The midfielder, 22, came through Los Blancos' academy set-up and will be presented to the media today after agreeing a deal with a €300m (£265.6m) release clause. (AS)

Edinson Cavani has emerged as a Milan transfer target following his high-profile falling out with Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian reportedly ordered PSG's hierarchy to sell the Uruguayan after he refused to give the former Barcelona forward a penalty during last weekend's 2-0 win over Lyon. Cavani, who is the team's designated spot-kick taker, missed the penalty. The 30-year-old played in Italy for Napoli before moving to France in 2013. (Tuttomercato)

And I am sure, with confidence and cohesion, we can do it." (SportBild)
