Jose Mourinho has claimed that Paul Pogba is unhappy with his role in the France team.

Pogba has not registered a goal for his national side since scoring in a 2-1 win over Sweden in November 2016.

The 24-year-old has not featured since Manchester United's Champions League win over Basel in September, and Mourinho questioned France's use of Pogba alongside Blaise Matuidi.

He said: "He can make football history. He has talent.

"We (Manchester United) have the balance in midfield to occupy space better. With Blaise Matuidi in the France team, I think he isn't happy."
