Neil Custis, James Ducker and Martin Samuel joined Neil Ashton on the Sunday Supplement to discuss all the big talking points.
First up on the agenda was Liverpool's goalless draw with Manchester United, where Custis and Ducker defended the tactics used by Jose Mourinho after criticism in the Sunday newspapers.
Manchester City's stunning 7-2 victory against Stoke was also on the cards, with the panel comparing Pep Guardiola to Mauricio Pochettino in terms of their playing style.
Arsenal and Chelsea's respective defeats to Watford and Crystal Palace were also up for discussion, as well as a reflection on the international break and if people are still interested in their national teams.
