Arsene Wenger is still unsure as to whether Aaron Ramsey's thigh injury will keep him out of Arsenal's title run-in.

Newspapers reports have claimed the Wales international could be out for up to six weeks, a lay-off that might also hamper the midfielder's preparations for playing in the Euro 2016 championships in France.

Ramsey had only been on the pitch for 16 minutes as a substitute in Arsenal's 4-0 FA Cup victory at Hull on Tuesday when he pulled up and came off injured.

Speaking on Ramsey's injury ahead of Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final against Watford at the Emirates, Wenger told Arsenal's official website: "There is a small alert, we don't know how bad it is."

A six-week lay-off to recover would keep Ramsey out until the Gunners' final two Premier League matches of the season - away at Manchester City and home to Aston Villa.

He will almost certainly miss next week's Champions League last-16 second leg in Barcelona.

Laurent Koscielny is also a doubt for Arsenal's trip to the Nou Camp as he continues to recover from a calf problem.

"He [Koscielny] is not far, he will have tests until Sunday, but it could come too soon. He has a little chance," Wenger added.

Nacho Monreal is expected to continue as a makeshift centre back in Arsenal's hastily-arranged FA Cup tie against Watford.

However, there was positive news about two others who had to leave the field against Hull due to injury, defenders Per Mertesacker and Gabriel.

"Mertesacker and Gabriel are very positive, there is nothing wrong there, they are both good," said Wenger.

He also confirmed that Petr Cech (calf), Jack Wilshere (ankle) and Santi Cazorla (knee) are progressing well with their injuries but will not be back this week or next.

Wilshere has resumed light training after being sidelined all season recovering from a broken ankle. He last played in the 1-0 Emirates Cup victory against Wolfsburg on July 26, 2015.
