The latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Tuesday, August 1.

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez appears to be on his way out of London - after boarding a Paris-bound flight from Chile, writes The Sun.

Manchester City have been strongly linked with a move for Sanchez in recent weeks and some reports suggest the striker is ready to hand in a transfer request to force through a move.

But could that move be to Paris Saint-Germain after he was pictured on a flight heading for the French capital?

Barcelona will turn their attention towards Arsenal forward Mesut Ozil if they fail in a bid to sign Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho, according to Don Balon.
