Joel Campbell has joined La Liga side Real Betis on loan for the remainder of the season - his sixth loan as an Arsenal player since he joined the club in 2011.

Campbell, who rejoins the club he spent a one-year stint at back in 2012/13, was not involved for Arsenal this season because of a knee injury sustained on international duty.

The move marks the sixth time Campbell has left Arsenal on loan with previous stints at FC Lorient, Betis, Olympiakos, Villarreal and Sporting Lisbon.

The 25-year-old made his name as part of the Costa Rica side which reached the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup. However, his club career hasn't reached the same heights with his loan at Sporting last season mustering only 18 league appearances and three goals.
