Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny says he will retire from international football with France following the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The Frenchman is calling time on his international career after playing 49 times for his country since making his debut in 2011 against the United States.
Speaking ahead of Les Blues' friendly against Wales on Friday, Koscielny told L'Equipe: "There is an end to everything.
"After the World Cup, I would be almost 33-years-old, it will be time to leave the place.
"I have six months left in the French team to blossom and take as many memories as my wife would say."
The 32-year-old, who has played at three major tournaments for France, and was part of the squad who finished runners-up in Euro 2016, is retiring to help prolong his Arsenal career.
Koscielny has suffered from ankle problems during his time in north London and also revealed to Sky Sports that he requires treatment on a longstanding Achilles problem on a daily basis.
He said: "Every morning I have my treatment for my Achilles and I know I need to do this to the end of my career.
"Now, every day I do this and it is okay but sometimes with all the games we play every three days, it is difficult and I need to have a rest to recover well for my Achilles."
