Arsene Wenger has given his Arsenal players a tactical briefing of a different kind this week as the club shows its support for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
The Gunners boss can be seen in the video enthusiastically advising Alexandre Lacazette, Rob Holding and Calum Chambers in the art of crossing and weaving a knitted jumper.
Unfortunately for Wenger, his efforts to offer instructions appear to be in vain, with Holding, in particular, struggling to get the knack of knitting.
The video is in aid of Save the Children, who the Arsenal Foundation have been supporting since 2011, raising more than £2m.
