West Brom head coach Tony Pulis reveals that Jake Livermore is in contention for a return to the starting line-up

Tony Pulis has said Jake Livermore will be back in the ranks for the visit to Arsenal on Monday Night Football.

Earlier this week, Pulis revealed that the midfielder had been given some time off because he was "jaded" but both the player and his manager have been quick to play down the extent of any problem.

Pulis said: "Everything is fine with Jake, he just needed a couple of days off. There was nothing else to it. He's available for Monday.

"Maybe I should have just said he had a hamstring injury and that would have stopped all the press and speculation of this and that. Maybe I've learned my lesson.

"We do have one or two knocks but with a couple of days to go, hopefully they'll be okay for Monday. We'll assess them.

"Arsenal are a top team with top players, we're going there knowing it'll be a tough game on Monday. But we look forward to it.
