Burnley manager Sean Dyche was left fuming by Rajiv van La Parra's attempts at trying to win Huddersfield a penalty.
The Clarets were left frustrated by their opponents at Turf Moor on Saturday as neither side were able to break the deadlock.
Chris Wood had Burnley's best chance of the game, but his header from Stephen Ward's cross veered wide when the striker was well placed to score.
Huddersfield had the better chances in the second half with Laurent Depoitre and Tom Ince coming close to stealing victory, but both sides had to settle for a point apiece.
Dyche had few complaints about the result, but he was less than impressed by Van La Parra's act of simulation.
He said: "My only gripe is they've got to change the rules on retrospective bans because I've seen a player blatantly dive in a manner that is unacceptable in football.
When asked if he thinks Van La Parra should be banned, Dyche added: "No, I've got nothing against the player, I don't know him well enough.
"I'm saying there's this new rule, in theory... if that's a penalty, he then scores, or they score, we get nothing, and that player retrospectively gets something. But now they don't get a penalty, they get nothing. It's unacceptable in my opinion."
Dyche was impressed by the performance of Steven Defour in midfield, admitting he expected a tough battle against the Premier League new boys.
He added: "It was a close affair, without a shadow of a doubt. We came across a team who had the freedom of having just come into the Premier League, and they were very defensive.
"We knew we would have to try to break down a block defence at times, and that's tricky. We lacked a cutting edge, Woody had a great chance from Wardy's cross, but overall I'm happy to get another point on the board.
"Credit to Huddersfield, they gave a good account of themselves, they played a lot on the break and they've already got a good number of points on the board this season. We take that point and move forward."
