Swansea have made an approach to Hull for midfielder Sam Clucas, according to Sky sources.
Hull are keen to retain Clucas as they target an immediate return to the Premier League and have so far rejected two bids from Burnley, with the second bid worth up to £10m.
Swansea manager Paul Clement wants to strengthen his squad following the £45m departure of Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton and is also targeting the signings of Wilfried Bony, Joe Allen and Nacer Chadli.
Clucas, who missed just one match in the Premier League last season, is contracted at the KCOM stadium until 2019 having signed a new three-year contract last August.
The 26-year-old joined Hull from Chesterfield in 2015 and has since featured 96 times for the club, scoring nine times.
Clucas has appeared in Hull's opening three matches to the Sky Bet Championship campaign.
