Huddersfield boss David Wagner believes his side create enough chances, they just need to be more clinical.

Huddersfield boss David Wagner has confirmed he has a growing injury list ahead of his side's game away to Burnley on Saturday.

Wagner revealed he will be without Steve Mounie and Danny Williams for the trip to Turf Moor with Mounie expected to return next weekend while Williams, who has fractured his foot, could face a longer spell on the sidelines.

Laurent Depoitre and Rajiv Van La Parra are late fitness doubts as the pair struggle with stiffness and Colin Quaner, who is recovering from a calf injury, is set to return during the international break.

When asked about the fitness of Mounie and Williams, Wagner said: "Both will not be in contention this weekend. Steve will probably be ready for the next home game against Tottenham.

"Danny Williams has a small fracture on the bone in his foot. We have a specialist appointment tomorrow where we will get some information about how long he's out.

"At the moment, this is very open as it is a very small fracture. He is definitely out for tomorrow and anything else we will know after the weekend.

"Lolo (Depoitre) and Rajiv (Van La Parra) are stiff. Lolo Depoitre is further along than Rajiv with whom there is some doubt at the moment. So we have some injury concerns at the moment but we will find some solutions for it," he added.

"What Burnley and Sean (Dyche) have achieved over the last four or five years shows how important consistency is in football to achieve success.

"It's a big match for us, we know what is in front of us. This is a real team, a real hard-working team not a team full of individuals but an unbelievable team with a great work ethic."

When asked about whether there are similarities in the work-ethic of the two sides: "Absolutely. The togetherness, the spirit you can feel this group of Burnley players has this spirit and this is one of the keys to their success, just like us.

"We are ready, we are prepared and we are happy that we will meet them on Saturday.

"We're still very excited about every single Premier League game. We'll have great support there and we'll need every Huddersfield fan."
