Arsenal striker Jodie Taylor has been named England women's player of the year.
Taylor finished Euro 2017 this summer as the Golden Boot winner and became only the third English footballer to score a hat-trick at a major tournament, something she achieved against Scotland.
Mark Sampson's Lionesses lost out to hosts the Netherlands in the final in Euro 2017.
The 31-year-old, who did not make her England debut until 2014, said of her award: "It was worth the wait. It took a long time to get here. It's better late than never."
Taylor was also presented with the UEFA golden boot award, adding: "If it wasn't for them giving me the quality service I wouldn't have been receiving this."
Manchester City defender Lucy Bronze, Reading midfielder Jade Moore and Taylor's Arsenal team-mate Jordan Nobbs were the other contenders for the award.
Nobbs did not go home empty-handed, however, as she took the WSL Players' Player of the Year award, with the midfielder saying it was "a very proud moment".
The FA Women's Football Awards were held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, celebrating the best of international and domestic women's football.
The Lionesses are next in action when they host Russia at Prenton Park in their opening 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier on Tuesday September 19.
FA chief executive Martin Glenn said he hoped there would be a Great Britain football team at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, after previous opposition from the other home nations to a joint team.
"We're working really hard to get it," he said.
