London Lions won the inaugural All-Stars Basketball championship on Sunday, beating Newcastle Eagles 26-25 at The O2.
Lions captain Joe Ikhinmwin told BBL: "It's an immense honour. The season is just around the corner so it's a great start. It lets everyone know the Lions are here."
Justin Robinson added: "Honestly, I don't think I deserve MVP. I think someone else should have got it. It's an honour to come home - home fans, home arena, in London. It's amazing. Going into the season, this is a great confidence boost. It was a statement game. Everyone knows they've got to keep an eye on us."
