Jermaine Jenas predicts where Man United and Chelsea will finish

Jermaine Jenas is backing both Manchester United and Chelsea to finish in the top four this season

Jermaine Jenas is backing both Manchester United and Chelsea to finish in the top four this season – but says Manchester City will win the Premier League title.

Manchester United made a positive start to the new campaign by securing a thumping 4-0 win over West Ham United in their opening game of the season on Sunday.

Manchester City also kicked off their second season under Pep Guardiola by beating Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 on Saturday evening.

Chelsea, meanwhile, endured an afternoon to forget as Antonio Conte’s men were beaten 3-2 by Burnley in the biggest upset of the weekend.

However, former Tottenham midfielder Jenas is backing Spurs to finish in the top four this season, along with both Manchester clubs and Chelsea.

Asked for his top four predictions, BT Sport pundit Jenas replied in an exclusive interview with The Sport Review: “I think both Manchester clubs will be in the top four along with Chelsea.

“Then it’s almost a battle between Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs.

“I think Spurs will do it and end up in the top four. They’ll have enough and get used to Wembley.

“And I think Manchester City will win the league. Those are my predictions!”

Chelsea take on Tottenham at Wembley in their next Premier League game on Sunday as the Blues look to get back to winning ways against the Lilywhites.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are preparing for their trip to Swansea City in the Premier League’s early kick-off on Saturday afternoon.
