Arsenal have been keeping tabs on Dutch forward Alessio Da Cruz at Serie B side Novara, according to reports

Arsenal are among four Premier League clubs interest in signing promising Dutch forward Alessio Da Cruz, according to reports.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Gunners are leading Premier League interest in signing the 20-year-old starlet.

According to the same article, Da Cruz has caught the attention of a handful of Premier League clubs following his impressive form in Serie B.

The promising Netherlands forward has scored five times in 12 games in Italy’s second tier.

The same story reveals that Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion, Southampton and Swansea have all scouted Da Cruz ahead of the January transfer window.

Da Cruz previously represented Dutch club FC Twente and Jong FC Twente before he completed a move to Serie B side Novara in 2017.

Arsenal have a brilliant record of polishing off talents under Arsene Wenger since the French coach took over the reins at the north London club in 1996.

Of course, Dutch legend Dennis Bergkamp became an Arsenal icon and won three Premier League titles during a decorated spell at the Gunners.

Marc Overmars is another Netherlands legend who was a fan favourite at the north London club.

Arsenal will welcome Manchester United to The Emirates in their next Premier League game on Saturday evening.
