ARSENAL flop Philippe Senderos is poised to relaunch his career - in America's "Space City" Houston.
Rangers released the Swiss international defender in May after just one season at Ibrox.
Senderos has now joined Houston Dynamo on trial.
If the 32-year-old impresses coach Wilmer Cabrera he will win a deal with the club currently third in Major League Soccer's Western Conference.
The centre-back made 116 Gunners appearances between 2003 and 2010, scoring four goals.
He also spent a season on loan to Everton, four years with Fulham and two campaigns with Aston Villa.
Former Rangers defender DaMarcus Beasley plays for Houston, while Owen Coyle managed the Texas club between 2014 and 2016.
Houston is home to NASA's Johnson Space Centre - the site of the Mission Control centre and the source of the phrase: "Houston, we have a problem."
