Sanchez is in the final 12 months of his contract but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger remains adamant that he won't be sold this summer.

But according to the Telegraph, it won't deter their title rivals from trying to tempt Arsenal into selling... and will offer Sanchez a staggering £400,000-a-week to join the Etihad.

The 28-year-old missed Arsenal's opening dramatic 4-3 win of the season over Leicester through injury.

And he is also a major doubt for the trip to Stoke on Saturday evening.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been closely keeping tabs on Sanchez's situation.

The winger fuelled further speculation that he was braced to hold talks with the mega-rich French side after spending time in the French capital with his girlfriend and agent.

But PSG have reportedly cooled their interest following the world-record arrival of Neymar whilst also attempting to lure Kylian Mbappe to the club.

Arsenal are prepared to let Sanchez leave on a free transfer next year and are quickly giving up hope that he will pen a new contract.

The Gunners offered him £225,000-a-week but then tabled an improved £300,000-a-week in a bid to convince him to stay.

They see him as a crucial part of their side if they are to win any silverware this season.

But Sanchez eyes his future away from the Emirates and is likely to wait until the end of the season to get his move.
