But when cops recovered the £100,000 car they discovered that thieves had left the CDs untouched.

Joe discovered his luxury motor had been stolen from his driveway at his home in Bowden, Cheshire, at around 6.45am on Saturday 12 August.

The 30-year-old - now at West Ham - reported the theft to cops who found the car - which is fitted with a tracker - abandoned nearby.

And as a massive music fan, Joe was relieved to be told that nothing else had been taken from his car.

A source said: “Joe has built up an extensive rap music collection over the years and is very proud of it. It’s the only thing he listens to in the car so when his car was nicked, he was worried he’d lost both the car and his music.

“He was delighted when the police found his vehicle - and even happier when officers told him nothing else had been taken from inside the vehicle.”

In May Joe jetted to Frankfurt to party with Stormzy and Lethal Bizzle, posing for pictures backstage.

And in June 2015 he was pictured with American rapper 50 Cent while on holiday in the United States.

Joe’s England teammate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also revealed that playing tunes the music-obsessed keeper liked prior to an international fixture was the best way to keep the dressing room happy.

He said: “The England DJ is the toughest role I’ve ever come up against.

“I worked out quite early that you keep Joe Hart happy in the England dressing room with the music, then you’re good to go because he’s such a big character – if he’s happy, everyone’s got to be happy.

“So that’s what I focused on. I kept Harty happy and I’ve had the job for a while.”

A Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called to an address in Bowden at 6.45am on Saturday 12 August to a report that a car had been stolen.

"The car was later recovered. Police enquiries are ongoing and no-one has been arrested.”
