Arsenal subtly hit back at Martin Keown and Steven Gerrard with impressive Mesut Ozil stat

ARSENAL have subtly hit back at Martin Keown and Steven Gerrard's recent criticism of Mesut Ozil.
The BT Sport presenters launched a stinging attack on the Germany international after Saturday's defeat at Stoke.
Keown claimed that Ozil "doesn't want to work hard for the team" and that he "needs to take a good look at himself" following the 1-0 loss.
Meanwhile Liverpool legend Gerrard said that Ozil "doesn't want to know" when the Gunners don't have possession of the ball.
Not for the first time the 28-year-old was accused of not tracking back for Jese Rodriguez's crucial winner.
Whilst boss Arsene Wenger failed to single out any of his players, it was Ozil who took most of the criticism.
But it appears the Gunners are standing up for their playmaker by stating the facts.
The club took to Instagram to say: "Most chances created in the Premier League this season? Mesut Ozil with 10."

Ozil mustered just nine assists for Arsenal last season - 10 less than the campaign previous.
And his future remains up in the air having yet to sign a new contract with the club.
His current deal expires next summer but foreign clubs will be able to agree a pre-contract with Ozil and sign him for nothing in January.
