Arsenal transfer news: ‘Leaked image’ of Alexis Sanchez in a Man City shirt sends Twitter into chaos… but not is all what it seems

MANCHESTER CITY fans will be hoping to see Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez in a blue shirt after the international break.
And it appears their wish has already been granted... although all is not what it seems.
A picture of Sanchez wearing Man City's home jersey against a green screen background started doing the rounds on Twitter.
It sent both fans into a frenzy with many believing that Pep Guardiola had finally landed his man.
But eagle-eyed social media users noticed something out of the ordinary.
On the image, Sanchez has a tattoo branded on his left arm but the Chile star doesn't even have ink work on his arm.
Instead it appears someone photo-shopped an image of Sanchez's head onto Leroy Sane's body.
Although it can't be certain, the Germany international has a tattoo which is remarkably similar to that from the image.

City believed they would land Sanchez in a £60million deal before today's 11pm deadline.
And the wantaway forward was so confident he would join the Etihad that he told his Chile team-mates that he the move was a done deal.
But in a latest twist it seems as though Sanchez will remain an Arsenal player.
Arsene Wenger was desperate to land a replacement but a move for Thomas Lemar will fall through because there is no time to finalise personal terms.
