Joel Campbell set for ANOTHER loan move away from Arsenal as he heads to Real Betis for season

Costa Rican striker has been sent out on five short-term spells since 2011 after failing to crack the first team

ARSENAL are set to send Joel Campbell on loan to Real Betis for the season.

The Costa Rica forward is heading out for his sixth temporary deal since 2011.

Campbell spent the 2012-13 season with Betis - scoring twice in 32 matches.

His contract runs out next summer and will likely be allowed to leave on a free unless he hits form.

The 70-cap international netted three times for Sporting last season in his latest spell and will need to do better to earn a new Gunners deal.

Clubs can talk to Campbell, 25, about a pre-contract agreement in January.

Arsenal chiefs have been busy trimming their squad ahead of the 11pm deadline.

Lucas Perez is set to join Campbell in heading for Spain as former club Deportivo eye a loan deal.

And Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has completed a £40million move to Liverpool after failing to sign a new contract.

But Alexis Sanchez will be staying despite the Gunners provisionally accepting a £60m offer from Manchester City.

The club failed to agree terms with potential replacement Thomas Lemar in time and will not sanction the Chilean's exit.
