'Agent P at it again'

Manchester United fans think Paul Pogba is convincing Thomas Lemar to join them

The United ace sends fans into meltdown with Instagram post, even though the transfer window has closed

PAUL POGBA, or 'Agent P' as he dubs himself, posted a timely tease to leave United fans questioning Thomas Lemar's future.

The Reds ace also comically claimed he is preparing an approach for his French compatriot ahead of the next transfer window.

Lemar snubbed a last minute to switch to Arsenal on deadline day, despite his current club Monaco accepting the English side's £92m offer.

The 21-year-old claimed that he was unwilling to play for a Europa League club, where he was earmarked to replace wantaway striker Alexis Sanchez.

As the transfer window was drawing to a close, Lemar managed to bag a brace during France's 4-0 win against the Netherlands.

Following the victory, Pogba posted a subtle hint on social media that he would convince the midfield ace to join the Reds next summer.

He said: "Happy with yesterday's result, working for the next goal. Proud of being blue."

The Frenchman completed the post with #AgentP hashtag - which went viral following his influential role in Romelu Lukaku's switch to United.

Pogba also took credit on social media following Zlatan Ibrahimovic's decision to a sign a new contract with the Reds.

Last year, United boss Jose Mourinho tasked Pogba to convince Antoine Griezzmann to make a switch to Old Trafford.

Lemar has been at the centre of a summer-long transfer saga, with a number of Europe's biggest club's targeting the Monaco ace.

The 21-year-old is set to spend another campaign in Ligue 1 under the management of Leonardo Jardim.
