Manchester City want Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez on loan in January before signing him on permanent deal
No one got what they wanted when it came to the Alexis Sanchez saga as the clock struck 11 on deadline day but City have come up with a solution to make all parties happy, sort of
MANCHESTER CITY have reportedly drawn up a contingency plan to land Alexis Sanchez.
Pep Guardiola had built the Chilean into his season's plans but after the £60million deal fell through at the last minute he will have to wait until January to get him.
City have proposed a loan deal in January for Sanchez before signing him permanently when he is available for a free transfer at the end of the season, according to 101 great goals.
That causes even more embarrassment for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who will have to deal with a player that clearly has no desire to be there only to lose him a few months later and leave the Gunners empty handed.
The Gunners opted to pull out of the deal with City following their own failed attempts to sign Thomas Lemar, which left the wantaway forward furious.
Sanchez has threatened a striker for the remainder of his contract.
But even if he's bluffing the 28-year-old has already proven to be unmotivated on the pitch and accused of draining the moral of an already struggling Arsenal team.
Guardiola and the Etihad bosses were also left reeling and considered taking legal action over the botched deal.

With a move in January their only option, all sides will have to be patient but it will bring much needed relief to the Sanchez saga.
Guardiola will finally get the man he had planned into his side's future and Sanchez will get the departure he so desperately wants.
As for Arsenal, they would likely receive a drastically reduced pay out for their player but at least they will be able to move forward without the gloom of an extremely unhappy Sanchez hanging over them.
