MESUT OZIL is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders around, but his world-class ability is underlined by his tendency to be a little lazy.

The German reaps the rewards going forward, but it will be a rare occasion for an Arsenal fan to see the midfielder track back.

Despite being an integral element to the Gunners squad, Ozil is commonly criticised for his questionable work ethic under the management of Arsene Wenger.

Speculation continues at the Emirates regarding the German ace's future with the club as he enters the final year of his contract.

The 28-year-old was earmarked as a back-up option by Barcelona, behind Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool.
