Ederson required eight stitches in his side's 5-0 win and was snapped with a bandage covering the damage to the left side of his face.
But a new picture has emerged showing the extent of the injury caused by the Senegal international.
The image appears to be taken moments after he had his cuts stitched together whilst the Brazilian still has blood on his face.
One of the scars is just inches away from his eye and Ederson will believe he got off lightly following the challenge.
The 24-year-old was given oxygen and taken off on a stretcher after the incident.
Both Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola said after the game that the red card may have been harsh.
