Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain risks ticket as he parks luxury Range Rover in disabled bay in Liverpool

Reds' deadline day signing pockets £120,000-a-week and a parking fine would just be a drop in the ocean

ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN risked picking up a parking ticket and the wrath of the angry public after parking his Range Rover in a disabled bay.

Liverpool's £35million deadline day signing took a gamble by leaving his luxury car in a spot right outside the door to the venue.

The parking space is painted yellow and it is clearly supposed to be used as a disabled bay.

A fine would just a drop in the ocean for the 24-year-old who pockets around £120,000-a-week at his new club.

His start to life under Jurgen Klopp got off to a disastrous start after starting on the bench against Manchester City before watching his side crash to a 5-0 defeat.

His debut for Arsenal ended in similar vein with the Gunners falling to a 8-2 defeat to Manchester United in 2011.

And he was thrown in the firing line by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry when the club's record striker said: "I still don't know what he's good at."

Chamberlain has revealed how he wants to follow in the footsteps of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard in a central midfield role.

But Henry has doubts.

He said: "He spoke on the Liverpool website about that he could see Klopp making him a better player and that there’s a love and togetherness.

“Are you telling us you didn’t have that at Arsenal?

“Or are you looking forward to something else? He’s saying that after an hour of training at Liverpool.

“You have to bring something on the table. I have been watching him for a very long time and I still don’t know what he’s good at.

“You can find out on all players what they are not good at, but normally you also find out what they are good at.

“He needs to bring something to the table and give something to work with.”
