DAVIDE ZAPPACOSTA'S full debut got off a dream start with an unbelievable solo run and strike.
The defender picked up the ball in his own half and sprinted past two players down the right touchline.
He lifts his head to see which team-mates were in the box before lashing a strike past the Qarabag keeper.
Zappacosta then ran to celebrate with the Chelsea crowd after doubling his side's advantage.
But his audacious strike has many questioning whether he actually meant it.
One fan wrote: "Great goal/awful cross, Zappacosta".
Another supporter said: "Zappacosta gets a spectacular first goal for Chelsea - surely a cross, mind?"
It was a new landmark for Chelsea's summer signing after he became the 100th different Italian player to score in the Champions League.
