WILFRIED BONY?

Manchester United midfielder Angel Gomes baffled by Fifa picture

Wonderkid Gomes is not happy about the latest release from EA Sports as he questions FIFA on Twitter

ANGEL GOMES has been left baffled by his FIFA 18 graphic from the latest release from EA Sports.

The midfielder tweeted EA Sports FIFA: "Why do I look like Wilfried bony? Hahahahahaha #fifa18".

It seems that FIFA 18 has been the gift that keeps on giving with players keeping a close eye on their representation.

Yet Gomes has not been the only one teasing FIFA.

Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy, Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi and Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi have also question FIFA about their ratings.

Gomes has enjoyed a rapid rise through the Manchester United ranks and is set to become a household name.

However he now fears that FIFA have confused him with the Swansea forward.

The 17-year-old made his first start for the Red Devils on the final day of the 2016-17 season, coming on as an 88th-minute substitution.

In doing so the wonderkid became the youngest player to represent United since Duncan Edwards in 1953, and also became the first player born in 2000 to appear in the Premier League.

Former United star Clayton Blackmore believed he was good enough to feature for Mourinho’s first team at aged just 15.

Blackmore said: “There is a lad coming through called Angel Gomes, who could play tomorrow. I think he’s that good."

“He’s got an old head on his shoulders as well."

“He’s good enough to be in the first team now but it’s going to take him a year or two before everybody trusts him."

“A lot could happen in those two years, so hopefully he’s going to be still there and play for the first team soon.”
