Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez to be handed £10m signing-on bonus if he joins PSG next summer
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are reportedly planning to lure Alexis Sanchez away from Arsenal with a huge £10million signing-on bonus.
The Chile striker will be a free agent in the summer when his current contract expires at the Emirates.
As a non-English side, PSG can begin talks with the striker in January and will award the bonus if he signs a pre-contract deal - according to the Daily Express.
The French champions were unsuccessful in their quest to sign him this summer, despite offering him a £275,000-a-week deal.
The wantaway striker expressed his desire to leave the Gunners this summer, but a move failed to materialise.
Arsenal accepted a £60m offer for the striker from Manchester City, but the deal collapsed when Arsene Wenger failed to sign replacement Thomas Lemar.
As a result, Sanchez has cut an isolated figure this term and appears unsettled under the management of Wenger.
The high-flying Citizens remain in pursuit for Sanchez, along with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
Following a summer spending spree, Unai Emery is under threat of breaching the Financial Fair Play rules.
PSG signed Neymar for £198m and will pay Monaco £165m next year when Kylian Mbappe's loan spell turns permanent.
However, Sanchez would not trouble this as he would arrive to Parc des Prince on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old is out of contract next June and an exit from the Emirates seems certain.
The summer transfer window was one the craziest we have ever seen.
