DIEGO COSTA threw an almighty strop in Atletico Madrid training today when he was told to work away from the rest of the squad.
The Spanish striker, who finally secured his dream move back to Atletico from Chelsea after going on strike, was back to his moody best in Majadahonda.
He was told to go through some solo drills, but was clearly unhappy with this, gesticulating with his hands at the coaching team.
As he trudged away, he booted some balls away as he prepared for some speed work.
He looked a little happier however as he shook hands with some of the youth team who had been asked to train with the elite squad.
It's perhaps not surprising Costa has been asked to do some intensive work alone.
SunSport reported earlier this week how Costa till found time to sip a cold one in Marbella.
The former Chelsea man was treating himself to a low-key birthday beer in the Spanish holiday resort after turning 29 on Saturday.
With the international break in full flow, he has afforded some time to relax with pals.
Costa was snapped collecting a beer before taking a sip as he chilled out on the sun loungers.
