Marcus Rashford finally gets Manchester United birthday cake after Champions League win over Benfica
The birthday boy won Jose Mourinho's men a penalty just moments after being introduced as a substitute on Tuesday
MARCUS RASHFORD capped off Manchester United's 2-0 win against Benfica with a generous serving of birthday cake.
The English ace was introduced as a late substitute at Old Trafford on his 20th birthday.
United's official Instagram account uploaded the image of Rashford holding his personalised cake after the Champions League fixture.
The post was captioned: "When you've won against Benfica and finally get to enjoy your birthday cake #aboutlastnight #MUFC"
Despite only being on the pitch for 15 minutes, Rashford's run won the Reds a late penalty to secure the victory.
Daley Blind stepped up and converted from the spot in the 78th minute.
Team-mate Ashley Young took to Instagram after Tuesday's win to wish his pal a brilliant 20th birthday.
He captioned the post: "You may no longer be a teen but you're still The Kid. Happy birthday @marcusrashford"

Manchester United are now on the verge of reaching the Champions League knockout stage for the first time in four years.
Jose Mourinho's men have won all four of their group stage fixtures and need just one point from their next two fixtures to progress.

Rashford has been a Red Devils player since the age of seven and he shot to prominence after bagging a brace on his debut in 2016 against Arsenal.
He also scored on his England international debut, making him the youngest English player to score in his first senior match.
And last season the 20-year-old managed to score 11 times for Mourinho's side.
