Manchester United defender Phil Jones slammed by Twitter users for jogging back as Jamie Vardy scores
The English defender slowly tracked back as Leicester City took the lead at the King Power Stadium
JAMIE VARDY scored the opener at the King Power Stadium to gain an early advantage over Manchester United.
And Twitter users have slammed Phil Jones' pathetic attempt to track back as Jamie Vardy found the net.
The Foxes broke the deadlock against the run of play after 27 minutes of play in Leicester.
Demarai Gray delivered a tantalising ball over the top to break open Jose Mourinho's unorganised defence.
Riyad Mahrez held the ball up well, before an unmarked Jamie Vardy raced in to pick up possession.
The striker held his composure and slotted a left-footed strike past David de Gea and into the bottom corner.
Jones then came strolling in behind Vardy without any sense of urgency.
And this irritated Manchester United fans as they saw a Vardy party commence in front of their eyes.
One 'fan' tweeted: "Utterly pathetic from Phil Jones, inexcusable that is."
Another said: "Phil Jones was caught Crayon watching."
