MANCHESTER UNITED fans wished Romelu Lukaku well after his frightening head injury.
After just nine minutes, the Belgian clashed heads with Southampton's Wesley Hoedt and left the field wearing an oxygen mask
Following the collision, medical staff raced onto the pitch to aid the injured striker.
He hardly moved for minutes, before he was placed onto a stretcher at Old Trafford.
Manchester United fans gave a standing ovation as the 24-year-old left the pitch wearing an oxygen mask.
And fans turned to Twitter after witnessing the incident on Saturday afternoon...
One worried fan tweeted: "Quick recovery Lukaku. You've been terrific all season. You'll be misssed"
Marcus Rashford was introduced to replaced the injured striker after less than 10 minutes of play.
The game was goalless as Lukaku left the pitch to be assessed by medics.
BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey tweeted that Lukaku had not been taken to hospital and was being treated at the stadium.
Manchester United have yet to provide an update on Lukaku's condition.
