SunSport tells you what you need to know about the Gunners starlet...

What is Jeff Reine-Adelaide's background?

Rene-Adelaide was born on January 17, 1998.

Wenger signed him from Lens in May after the French side were relegated to Ligue 2.

Combined with the transfer of Yassin Fortune, the deal cost a reported £3m.

Wenger waxed lyrical about Reine-Adelaide after he came on as a substitute for the final 19 minutes in the 6-0 Emirates Cup win over Lyon in the summer of 2015.

What position does Jeff Reine-Adelaide play and what is he good at?

The attacking midfielder, 19, has bags of talent.

His trademark trick is a drag-back that leaves defenders lunging at the ball and left flat-footed as he bursts away with his rangy stride.

His best position seems to be as part of a three-man support line to a centre-forward, having mainly featured on the left of that system for the Gunners first team.

Has he played many games and how good to Arsenal think he is?

Wenger has previously said: "Jeff Reine-Adelaide is something special you know."

It says a lot about what the Wenger thinks the French starlet is capable of that he should lavish such praise in Reine-Adelaide's direction.

He made his first-team debut for Arsenal in the 3-1 FA Cup win over Sunderland in January 2016.

Rene-Adelaide has yet to make a Premier League appearance for the club, though played in the cup six times for the club last season.
