Napoli are reluctant to part ways with their star attacking midfielder who is under contract until 2019, but will be tempted if an offer of over £44million comes in.

Arsenal will also try their luck with Insigne's Algerian team-mate Ghoulam, who is seen as a potential successor to Nacho Monreal's left-back position.

The 26-year-old was signed from Saint-Etienne in 2014 and has been of the most consistent defenders in Serie A.

Ghoulam who has netted five times in 23 international games has also been the subject of heavy interest from Antonio Conte's Chelsea, as the two London clubs keep close tabs on his current contract stand-off with Napoli.
