Rafa Benitez will offload three keepers to finance bid for ex-Kop ace Pepe Reina

RAFA BENITEZ will ship out THREE keepers to finance a new bid to take Pepe Reina to Newcastle.

The Toon boss plans to sell Dutchman Tim Krul and Belgian Matz Sels to raise funds.

England hopeful Freddie Woodman, 20, will also be allowed out on loan to help his progress.

As SunSport revealed last week, Benitez is desperate to sign Napoli’s Reina, his No 1 at Liverpool.

Agent Manuel Quillon went to see the Italian club to ask about a price.

Quillon is also close to Benitez, so he has a fighting chance of finding a way to do the deal.
