Manchester United transfer news: Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker a target for United, RB Leipzig and AC Milan
Each club plans to send scouts to tomorrow's clash at Antwerp and assess the Belgium international ahead of new season
MANCHESTER UNITED plan on scouting Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker tomorrow night, according to reports.
AC Milan and RB Leipzig will also send club representatives to assess the Belgium international's talent during the club's opening clash at Antwerp, reports Belgian newspaper De Morgen.
Dendoncker, 22, is said to be a top target for Jose Mourinho ahead of the new Premier League season.
But Anderlecht will hold out on a stunning £34million for the player, who helped his club win the league last time round.
The report claims Dendoncker is eager to test himself at a bigger club and would be open to joining United.
Mourinho is in the market for a defensive midfielder, with Chelsea's Nemanja Matic and Monaco's Fabinho both linked to Old Trafford.
Dendoncker scored against United at home in last season's Europa League quarter-final first leg.
But the hefty fee for Dendoncker, who has made just four Champions League appearances in his four-year senior career, could prove a stumbling block for the Red Devils.

Mourinho this week slammed rising transfer fees for players outside the "world class" bracket.
He fumed: "I always thought the problem is not what you pay for these kind of [top] players, I don't think the problem is what you pay for Pogba, I don't think the problem is going to pay crazy for Neymar.
"I think the problem is with the other group which is a big group because players like Pogba, there is one or two [big] transfers [like that] per transfer window.
“The other ones are where you have 100 transfers and for me that is the dangerous area of the market.
"Some clubs are paying or they don't buy because they don't accept the numbers that are now ruling the market, or to do it they have to go the same levels and for me that's what worries me a little bit because now we speak about £30m, £40m, £50m in such an easy way.”
