As Jose Mourinho says he will ‘fight’ to sign Gareth Bale, is this his final training session with Real Madrid?
Welsh wonder joins La Liga team-mates in final preparations ahead of facing Red Devils in Uefa Super Cup
GARETH BALE trained with his Real Madrid team-mates on Monday for what could be the final time after Jose Mourinho declared his interest in the star.
The Red Devils boss had Old Trafford supporters in a spin after confirming his desire to bring the Welsh wonder to the North West.
Mourinho vowed to "fight other coaches" for the 28-year-old should he be made available by the La Liga giants.
Those words suggest that the Premier League giants are on the verge of launching an audacious move to bring the star back to England.
But Bale had to put that speculation to the back of his mind as he prepares to face his potential new employers in the Uefa Super Cup.
United, who won the Europa League, take on Champions League-winners Madrid in Skopje, Macedonia on Tuesday evening.
Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane was out on the pitch at the Philip II Arena preparing his La Liga title-winning squad for the clash.
The Frenchman was putting his men through there paces as they aim to pick-up their first piece of silverware of the new campaign.

And he remained coy when quizzed about Mourinho's comments on Bale as he faced the media.
Zidane said: “What’s important is that the player is feeling well. He’s had a lot of continuous training sessions with us and that’s what is important.
“At the end of last season it wasn’t easy for him. He was out for four months but now he is very concentrated.
“We’re concentrating on what we’re doing and that’s what is important. Bale is a Real Madrid player that’s all I can say. I want to talk about tomorrow’s match.”
Bale was joined by his ex-Spurs colleague Luka Modric and a host of other big-hitters.
And Cristiano Ronaldo was busy preparing himself to face his old side - despite only returning from his extended summer break at the weekend.
He was given extra time off due to his involvement for Portugal at the Confederations Cup.
Bale has been plagued by injuries since arriving in Spain, recently limping out of a training session as Madrid gear up to face United.
And Bernabeu chief Floertino Perez could be tempted to cut losses on Bale.
He has cost them a staggering £1.8MILLION per goal, and £830,000 a game.
As he enters his fifth season with Real, he is looking to build on his 67 goals, as well as three Champions League crowns and one La Liga title.
