Move over Phil Jones… Marouane Fellaini is the new king of facials at Manchester United after epic snap
MAROUANE FELLAINI has taken over from Phil Jones as the new face-pulling king of Manchester United after this unbelievable snap was captured against Real Madrid.
The big Belgian came off the bench but was unable to stop his side from losing the Uefa Super Cup 2-1 in Macedonia.
Luckily, thanks to an eagle-eyed photographer, he still managed to make himself a hit with football fans.
Former Everton star Fellaini was introduced into the action in place of Ander Herrera with 56 minutes on the clock.
And it was not long until he took the ball full pelt in the mush - and thankfully the snapper was there to capture the moment.
The stunning facial contortions almost make him look like one of legendary artist Picasso's finest works.
But there is no doubt he must have been a little dazed as his face briefly sank behind his cheeks to make this one of the most memorable match action shots you will ever see.
As fans revelled online in delight at the image, you can bet there will be one man unhappy when he catches a glimpse while checking his Twitter.

Jones has been the undisputed champion of facial expressions after producing some stunning mug shots during his time at Old Trafford.
In fact, the England defender has become something of an unrivalled icon.
But after missing out on the clash against Champions League winners Madrid due to suspension for swearing at a Uefa anti-doping officer, he must now be sweating on losing his crown as the facial king.
After the smash to the face things did not get better for Fellaini in Skopje.
With a bandage tucked inside it and his Afro booming above, it is safe to say that it was not Fellaini's finest look.
And you can be sure of one thing - if the star every decides to download Tinder he will not be using any snaps from the Madrid match as his profile pic.
