Manchester United and Chelsea boosted in Serge Aurier pursuit as PSG put defender up for sale
Premier League giants are interested in adding the right-back to their squads and could pay up to £27million
MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea have been given a boost as Paris Saint-Germain put Serge Aurier up for sale, according to reports.
Both Premier League giants are interested in adding the right-back to their squads and could pay up to £27million for his services.
And the Telegraph are now reporting the French club are ready to do business after deciding Aurier, 24, is no longer needed.
The arrival of Dani Alves at the Parc des Princes has forced Aurier down the pecking order.
Belgium international Thomas Meunier is also providing competition in the defensive area and so the player has reportedly told he can find a new club.
PSG are yet to enter any talks over the transfer of the Ivorian but United and Chelsea could now both prepare bids.
Aurier has had a turbulent time in France and is currently appealing a two-month prison sentence for assaulting a police officer last year.
That conviction prevented him from entering the UK to face Arsenal in the Champions League last season.

It is still uncertain whether the conviction would prevent a move across the channel if it is upheld.
United want Aurier as they only have Antonio Valencia in the right full-back position.
And the Blues are in a similar position with Victor Moses at Stamford Bridge.
