Former Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City star Kolo Toure handed coaching role with Ivory Coast Olympic team
The ex-Celtic centre-back joined the Hoops last season and helped them qualify for the Champions League group stage, before being released at the end of the season
KOLO TOURE has been handed a coaching role with the Ivory Coast.
The former Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool star joined up with Brendan Rodgers at the Hoops last summer on a one-year deal.
He helped them qualify for the Champions League group stage as well as winning a historic domestic treble, before falling out of the squad as the season progressed.

However, Rodgers had previously admitted he would have liked to extend the 36-year-old's stay in Glasgow with the offer of a player-/coach role.
Toure has spent the summer back home working with his national team.
And he admitted last week that 'time was going on' as he awaited an official offer from the Parkhead hierarchy.
Now Toure will take his first steps into coaching as he takes charge of the The Elephants' Olympic teams and under-23 side.
He only featured 17 times in all competitions in his debut campaign in Scotland - playing just nine matches in the Scottish Premiership, before he was released from his contract.

A form fan favourite wherever he has played, Toure was part of the Gunners''Invincibles' side that went unbeaten throughout the 2003/04 as they won the title.
He won two FA Cup's with Arsenal, as well the Premier League title with the Citizens in the 2011/12 campaign.
The 36-year-old alao won the African Cup of Nations in 2015 where he was included in the team of the tournament.
