A FATALITY on the line near Milton Keynes has caused severe delays at London Euston station.
The incident has left West Ham and a number of Manchester United fans stranded as they face missing their Premier League opener at Old Trafford.
Supporters face a fight to make it for the second half of the clash at the Theatre of Dreams, let alone for kick-off at 4pm.
There have been recommendations for fans to travel from Kings Cross to Leeds or Sheffield, then get the train from there to Manchester.
But passengers would not get to Leeds until at least 4pm barring no more further delays, leaving only a small glimmer of hope of watching their Premier League season opener.
You can expect a shortage of Hammers fans in the away end come kick-off.
There has so far been no word that the game will be delayed, leaving angry fans frustrated at missing such a key fixture.
